Forster Ajago was born in Navrongo, Ghana, where he developed a passion for soccer from an early age. He began his playing journey at St. Augustine's College, a well-regarded school in Ghana known for its strong academic and athletic traditions. He also played for the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. His talent and potential soon earned him the opportunity to pursue collegiate soccer in the United States.
Forster enjoyed a standout college career, making a significant impact at the University of Delaware, the University of Dayton, and Duke University. Across 58 collegiate appearances, he scored an impressive 28 goals. His senior season at Duke was particularly exceptional, where he netted 14 goals, earning Second-Team NCAA All-America honors and being named the ACC Offensive Player of the Year.
His success at the collegiate level propelled him into the professional ranks. Forster began his pro career with Major League Soccer side Nashville SC. After one season, he was acquired by Real Salt Lake ahead of the 2025 season. He is currently gaining valuable experience on loan with Lexington SC in the USL Championship.
