Cameron Kerr
Founder & CEO
Cameron was raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, immersed in the world of college soccer from day one. As the son of two college coaches, he gained valuable insight into the entire recruitment process. His father began his coaching career at Harvard University before taking the head coaching position at Duke University, where he continues to coach today. His mother also coached at the collegiate level, leading the women’s team at Providence College, as well as assisting at American University and Harvard University.
Cameron began his youth soccer journey with Triangle United, where he played until age 14. He then spent a season with XL Soccer World before joining NC Fusion, where he competed in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (now MLS NEXT) during his final two years of high school.
He continued his playing career at Duke University under the guidance of his father, appearing in 68 matches over five seasons. During his collegiate career, he recorded one goal and 11 assists. Cameron also gained valuable playing experience with USL League Two clubs Tobacco Road FC and Manhattan SC.
Academically, Cameron earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Duke, along with a certificate in Markets and Management Studies. After graduating, he continued at Duke to pursue his MBA at the Fuqua School of Business, where he continued to combine his passion for soccer and business.
Cameron's professional experience spans several sectors within and beyond the soccer industry. In 2022, he interned with Major League Soccer, contributing to the launch of MLS NEXT Pro. The following year, he served as a marketing intern at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin. He later joined Sportsology Group, a boutique sports consultancy with offices in New York and London, where he worked with clients across Major League Soccer and European football.
Beyond his professional roles, Cameron has consistently supported the development of younger athletes. Throughout college, he trained youth players and served as a mentor with Athlete to Athlete, helping aspiring soccer players grow both on and off the field.
